M.D. Alternative Medicine is a Master Alternative Medical Course. Alternative Medicine disciplines including Naturopathy; Medicinal Herbalism; Reflexology; Reiki Therapy among many others. Alternative Medicine is used in place of conventional medicine. Alternative Medicine would be following a special diet and taking herbs or vitamins rather than medications to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). The course includes ingesting or applying organic substances, pursuing a special diet plan, or some unique combination of methods that are not usually advised by a physician who practices conventional/ traditional medicine. The course provides for an analysis, and then treatment applying medications or other solutions, which have been developed through observation over time, as well as through research studies and clinical trials. The duration of the course is one year, and it may vary as per different institutes.
M.D. Alternative Medicine Eligibility
- Aspiring candidates should have passed a bachelor’s degree (like M.B.B.S., M.B.B.S.(AM), B.A.M.S., B.A.S.M., B.U.M.S. etc.) in any recognized system of medicine, such as Allopathy, Homoeopathy, Ayurvedic, Unani, Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM), etc., with minimum 55% marks.
- Some reputed colleges and institutes do conduct entrance examination for admission.
